The Lovehammers, With Lead Singer Marty Casey
What the heck is a Lovehammer? I asked myself the same question when I became so intrigued by Marty Casey's performances on Rockstar INXS. The Lovehammers is an independent rockband based in Chicago and will be smashing through your town very soon.
Mr. Marty Casey's steel eyes had driven me to learn what I could about where he came from. The band members are all around their 30's and their music appeals to teenagers and grandmas alike. Yeah, you know your grandmother used to rock out. The band formed when they were just 15 and that says something about friendships. Marty's commanding voice, Billy's ocean like guitar rifts, Dino's heart pounding base and Bobby's Hulk like arms on the drums all create songs that really can't be classified merely as alternative rock. There's something soulful in their instrumentals, poignant in their lyrics and it is all in cased in a party bomb that's about to explode. Guess who got to meet The LOVEHAMMERS!!!! YEA!
I finally got to meet Marty Casey and the Lovehammers' band! They were here in Atlanta February 22, 2006. I will never forget it! I even got to kiss Marty on the cheek! I'm totally Hammered now. You can look up Marty Casey and I'm sure you'll fall into it.

i meant to let you know earlier, but i was consumed with studying and finals--anyway, My friend LOVED the cufflinks. He told me he wore them to church and the man sitting next to him noticed them, who also happened to be a Kappa! They got to talking and he walked away with a job..well the offer, the interview and then the job(ya know how it goes) but at any rate the cufflinks were a conversation starter, so I'd like to think my gift helped him to advance his career.
