Back to previous page  Tizer Gardens Gazebo at Tizer Gardens In 1997, my husband Richard discovered a piece of paradise nestled in the Elkhorn Mountains, in southwestern Montana. Prickley Pear Creek meanders through the middle of our 7 acres, which is located just 18 miles south of Helena.  Being avid gardeners, we spent all of our time outside in our yard and as the flowers erupted, the neighbors began to take note. Eventually we opened our gardens to the public so that we could control when visitors would be in our gardens. In 2005, we hosted more than 12,000 people in our yard. Shop at Tizer Gardens As the gardens grew, we went in search of wonderful items to add to them. And soon our customers were asking for them too. So we opened a little shop that featured all kinds of fountains, statuary, bird houses and pretty much anything to do with gardens.
