A little information about TLFlies
Hello, My name is Tom. I am an Avid Fly Angler and was a Former Fly Shop Tier,Instructor and Wading Guide for 7 years. When the Owner of the shop retired I decided to start offering my Flies online.I have Tied at such events like the Midwest Fly Fishing Show held in Warren Michigan every year and recently at the 2007 Kentuckiana Fly Fishing Show in January held in Louisville Ky. In 2005 I did a story on a little known Trout Stream in the Metro Detroit area called Paint Creek on the Pbs show Michigan out of Doors. I have also tied at events like the Great Lakes Council Federation of Fly Fishers Fly Tying Expo held each year near Lansing Michigan and this past March a Fly of mine was featured in the Michigan Fly Box section of Michigan out of Doors Magazine. I have fished many of Michigans Blue Ribbon Trout Streams like the Ausable,Manistee,Rifle,Boardman,Sturgeon,Pigeon,Maple, Boyne,Jordan and Pere Marquette to name a few.I have been Fly Fishing and Fly Tying over 10 years.
