LIKE MOST SELLERS ON EBAY, I WAS ONCE (and still am) A BUYER AND AM A BUYER ON EBAY. IT DAWNED ON ME AS I WAS RECEIVING PACKAGES THAT CONTAINED "SCENTS" THAT MY CUSTOMERS WERE PROBABLY EXPERIENCING THE SAME HEAT INDUCTED SCENTS THAT I WAS.  THE HEAT, COUPLED WITH HUMIDITY CHANGES FROM ONE AREA OF THE COUNTRY OR THE WORLD CAN REALLY BRING OUT FACTORY OILS & OTHER VARIOUS STORAGE ODORS DURING SHIPPING OF FABRICS, TRIMS,CLOTHING & EVEN THE PLASTIC, CARDBOARD & SHIPPING ITEMS!  MICHIGAN IS A RECYCLING STATE--SO I OFTEN RECYCLE ENVELOPES, BUBBLE WRAP AND OTHER PAPER ITEMS BY USING IT IN MY SHIPPING & PACKAGING.

DUE TO MY OWN DISCOVERY, I HAVE INITIATED  ENCLOSING SLIVERS OF DOWNY SIMPLE PLEASURES OR BOUNCE SHEETS INSIDE THE PACKAGES THAT I MAIL OUT.  NOT ONLY DO THE SHEETS ABSORB MOISTURE DURING TRANSIT...THEY SCENT THE FABRICS AND TRIMS.   IT IS MUCH LIKE PLACING SCENTED DRAWER LINERS IN YOUR LINGERIE.  THIS FRAGRANCE IS NOT PERMANENT AND ONLY REQUIRES A FEW MINUTES OF AIRING OUT TO MAKE IT GO AWAY.  

SOME OF THE ITEMS I HAVE PURCHASED FROM OUTSIDE SOURCES MAY CONTAIN SMOKE AND/OR OTHER ODORS.  SMOKE ODOR IS NOT PERMANENT AND WILL AIR OR WASH OUT, BUT IS OFTEN VERY OFFENDING TO SOME...ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH ALLERGIES.   I CANNOT SMELL IT BECAUSE OF ON GOING ALLERGIES AND I DO NOT WANT UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS!  IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO SMOKE ODOR...OR IF SMOKE ODOR OFFENDS  YOU, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON MY AUCTIONS BECAUSE I DONT WISH TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS ONCE THE PACKAGE LEAVES ME.   

WE REALLY NEED TO BE REAL PEOPLE HERE...MOST EBAY SELLERS ARE LIKE ME--HUMAN'S THAT WORK OUT OF OUR HOMES.  FABRIC, LACE, CLOTHING, PACKAGING SUPPLIES ARE ALL PRONE TO ABSORBING ALL KINDS OF SCENTS EVEN AFTER THEY LEAVE OUR HANDS!  THE DRYER SHEET SLIVERS I USE COME IN YUMMY SCENTS!  MY FAVORITE IS JASMINE/WATER LILY.  LIFE IS LIFE AND THE SHEETS ARE NOT TOTAL MIRACLE WORKERS.   ANYONE SENSITIVE TO FRAGRANCE SHOULD EMAIL ME SO THAT I DO NOT ADD THESE SHEETS.  I CERTAINLY DONT WANT ANYONE ILL FROM FRAGRANCE.  THE SLIVERS OF BOUNCE ARE GREAT FOR "WAXING" YOUR SEWING NEEDLES TOO!

If you receive an item from me that is offensive, please email me and alert me to the problem.  I will promise you that your items will be clean and neat...and I will do the best I can to avoid situations that are offending to my customers, BUT please try to be understanding about things that cannot always be controlled.  

I offer more than reasonable pricing on all of the merchandise that I sell or auction.  The price I charge does not reflect the quality...it reflects the fact that I got a great deal on the item and I am passing the savings on to you!  Laces and trims are highly respected...they will never come to you in a "wad"--I always wrap them around cards or foam board for easy storage in your home. 

My customers are important to me and since I truly cherish all of you, I will treat you well and with genuine respect always.  Email me with your problems no matter how slight!

FINALLY:  My customers are always right--but, only if they allow themselves to be. Given ample opportunity I will make my customers happy.  This cannot be achieved if negative or neutral feedback is given before hand...and it is a shame when that happens.  This is not a perfect world--but many expect us to conform and make it one anyway.      

I do not and will not lie on my listings to cause anyone to purchase anything from me that they do not want.  I do not intentionally ever hide flaws or damage in anything that I auction or sell.  Let's face it...used is used and it might not always be as perfect as new is.  I ALWAYS ALERT YOU TO THE FACT THAT SOMETHING IS VINTAGE OR USED.  I CONSIDER AN ITEM NEW WHEN I LIST IT AS VINTAGE NEW (I ONLY DO THIS WHEN THE VINTAGE ITEM IS IN A SEALED PACKAGE).
