The Card Critic

25 Years of Card Collecting Experience...
...and not even 35 years old. I've collected cards before there was "a market", and before Air Jordans existed. The inital boom in the mid-80's, the crash of the late 80's-early 90's, chase cards, "premium" cards, and now graded cards and cards with postage-stamp swatches of "history"--I've watched it all since childhood, and I can't wait for what's next. Cards with DNA profiles of star athletes? Mario Lemieux's blood is O-, now yours can be too!
Perfect Descriptions, All The Time
I enjoy both buying and selling on eBay, from sports cards, to sports memorabilia, to hard-to-find videos and other assorted fun stuff. I don't know about you, but are you tired of card grading descriptions that don't describe? MT/NRMT/EX-MT+/NRMT-MT/EXMT/NRNRMTMT and the like? Since when did grading cards become like reading a spinning compass? For any cards I offer for bid, I will simply provide an accurate, critical grade and description. Perfect corners, edges, centering, and gloss--but only a "tiny" pencil mark on the back? Boom!--that's a 'Fair" condition card, no matter how good it looks. Nice, inexpensive Placeholder though, until a better one is available. For Card Critic auctions, telling it like it is will be standard operating procedure.
