Todd Walk
A style that challenges the brilliance of the modern masters is brought
into play with Todd’s ability to teach each viewer the joy of viewing
complex ideas illustrated in simple form. His bold style and vibrant
colors enhance the viewers pleasure. This has made Todd known as one of
the most sought after modern artists to collect. His recent works include
musical instruments, sport/game room images, beach scenes and martini
glasses.
Todd’s self-taught style is not inhibited with the rules of classroom
art demonstrated by so many of his contemporaries. His use of pastels for
their saturated color and soft matte finish lend itself to his
contemporary images. His works allow us the pleasure of seeing common
objects in a different and whimsical light. Todd Walk art is often
described as being brand new and refreshing to the viewers eye.
Todd was born in Reading, Pennsylvania in 1960 and now lives in
Morgantown, Pennsylvania with his wife, Melanie and three daughters. He
began painting in 1992 while living in California. His artistic career
started by traveling across the United States selling his original pastels
to elite galleries. By 2001, Todd’s artwork was selling in stores
through out the country. While he still enjoys displaying his art at fine
art shows, he spends most of the time in his studio creating new works.
