Having loved big trucks and heavy equipment since I was a kid in Ohio, it was only natural that I become a bonified "old iron nut" in my later years, collecting all sorts of vintage sales literature, magazines, memorabilia, toys, photos and other historical items. I may have met many of you in the antique truck and 'big iron' hobby at various ATHS, ATCA and HCEA shows and events over the past 25 years. In my working career, I began as a laborer on the Ohio Turnpike in 1953. After college I ran a large dump truck operation in Ohio, became a partner in a heavy/highway construction company, then owned an equipment rental business, started an antique truck restoration shop and small museum in Michigan, and in my later years I drove big trucks for 7 years, including 4 years driving 11-axle "Michigan Gravel Trains" ... the most 'fun' job of my life! In anticipation of my retirement and moving from Michigan/Ohio to central Florida, I began to sell some of my prized "stuff" on eBay in May 2001. In the following 8 years I have sold some 6100+ items with a 100% Positive Feedback Score of over 3100 Feedbacks received.
