THIS IS MY NORMAL "WATCHDOG POSITION" I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE Hi, my name is Sara and all this time, I would imagine that you thought I was a human. Well, as you can see in the picture, I am not. More of the canine variety. I think that I will be a human when I grow up, but I'm still not sure. We all live on a farm, and I have lots of things to get done each day. Chase the chickens once in a while. Go out and see my favorite mailman Tim, bark at whatever might move, and lay on the porch to protect this old house. I do have 3 sisters that live with me. One is really my sister, but the other 2 are adopted. Please don't tell them because I don't think they know. I also have to share this house with three humans. The old people aren't too bad, but they never seem to give me enough good things to eat. They expect me to enjoy these little brown pieces they call food. They should try these sometime. Yuk. They also have a son that lives here some of the time. He is in college and only comes home every few months. At least I can use his waterbed when he's away. Oh well, that's enough typing for now as my paws are getting a little tired. Not enough manual dexterity in these 2 1/2 year old paws. Thank you for dropping by and I hope I can find some other things to say in the future. Take care. BUYING, MAILING, AND GOING TO THE BANK ARE A HEADACHE You should try it sometime. If I go to an auction and raise my paw, I seldom get any attention. If I bark, someone just tells me to be quiet. I guess maybe I will have to be a little more obvious in the future, like maybe going right on up to the auctioneer and jumping up and grabbing his hand. I usually take my humans along because they seem to get all the attention. The post office is a little bit different. They have learned to respect me there, at least. As long as the packages are properly labeled and I have enough money with me, they will help me out. You should see the looks from some of the other people that come in there. They actually think I should get out of the way and allow them to cut in line. I wonder what they are like when they drive a car. (WATCH OUT!) Next we have to go to the bank to deposit those checks and money orders and take out some cash to buy more good things. Even though I try, they still won't let me sign the checks. Good thing my humans are near by. I wonder how long it will be until I really grow up. Life on eBay can be a little tough at times. All day long I sit at this keyboard. You think you get tired, at least you have fingers, try typing with paws sometime. The packing material is a lot of fun though. I love to open the plastic and really enjoy those peanuts that come in the big bags. They don't taste so good, I really don't know why all of you want some sent to you.
