As a point of information, no one in the house smokes. We have a dog and three cats, but no smokers. 30 years ago, my grandmother smoked, so things we've owned that long could have been exposed to second hand smoke.
Sondra and her mother (my grandmother) started going to yard sales in the 60's in Iowa. The tradition has been passed on, and my child is adept at bargaining. Grandma and Grandpa grew up in the depression and saved EVERYTHING. You think I'm kidding, but I went through 20 years of craft magazines. Trust me, all the crafts cycle through about every 5-7 years. After my grandparents death, we moved the contents of their house into ours. Garage sales were a help in getting rid of stuff, but far from enough.
Matters weren't helped at all when Evelyn joined the SCA and Sondra realized that her lifelong dream to own a small bookstore could come true. So add to our household a bookstore specializing in the Middle Ages/Renaissance. The bookstore is called Tomes & Tunes, hence tomes2. Tomes & Tunes carries a variety of books and music, including a (fairly) large selection of London Pro Musica. We don't have a web page , but email enquiries are welcome. Tomes & Tunes only exists at SCA events in Calontir (click on the link below for more info)and in the trailer the rest of the time. The books from the shop that are listed on eBay are those which were "mistakes" as far as the midwestern SCA market.
Sondra has been reading westerns, mysteries and western history for years, but has come to the realization that you can't keep everything! Also has a childhood of stuff that (hopefully) others are more interested in owning.
We now have a digital camera, as well as a scanner, but getting the pictures reduced from hundreds of kb to under 30kb still involves MS Paint. When we get a new computer, or cram more space into this one, I'll maybe take a whack at some new programs. If you have problems with a picture, or just need to see some angle I didn't get, please email me and ask. I try to cover everything, but we've got so much stuff and we don't want to become experts in it, just to get rid of it.
If you have any questions about our stuff, please feel free to email us. We'll try not to miss any defects in the descriptions, but if you have a specific question, please ask. We may not know the answer, but we'll try out best :) Our goal is that if you buy something, you should be pleasantly suprised with your purchase. The worst that could happen if you email is that you get a long letter :)

I try to be good about leaving feedback. To check what feedback I (or anyone else) have left, this is a nifty tool. (snagged from another ebayer's me page)
