   Welcome to the eBay side of TONKALAND. Hopefully you've been browsing our current listings of Tonka, Buddy L, HotWheels, Matchbox and our other favorite toys and collectibles. Thanx for the visit! We're in it for the long run so our main priority is our reputation and feedback. Whatever we can do to keep it smooth, we're game.

   We specialize in Tonka, mainly your smaller versions, ranging from the Tonka Totes, Mites, Action and Scramblers on up and including the Tiny, Compact and Mini Tonka. We have an extensive collection including many of each model and their variations. We're currently photographically documenting all and will be posting the pictures on our new Tonka web site, http://www.tonka-land.com, feel free to visit and check our progress.    As the old saying goes, we believe that a picture DOES speak a thousand words! That's why we pay the higher per listing fees in order to post as many pictures as possible. We believe in complete honesty, especially for item description. We've been sorely disappointed several times by sellers, hiding behind a single blurry picture and a vague description. We would never want that for our high bidders. If there's ever any doubt, definitely write to us with your questions.

   We'll ship your items timely and safely. My sons and I try to do the shipping as soon as possible after payment but it seems like we STAY backed up and sometimes we're slow. However, everyone always receives their items in good order, please be extra patient. If you need it "fast", please let us know up front and we'll try to accomodate your needs. For cost effectiveness we've chosen to ship ONLY with the United States Postal Service. They're reliable and provide quality service. They're also online and linked with PayPal. By generating your shipment online, via eBay and PayPal, we're able to have an E-mail with the shipping details automatically sent to your eBay registered E-mail address. Also, the shipping information is then posted right into the listing for the item you won. You may check on the shipping yourself via the "view shipment status" link, which will appear after shipment is generated. All of these services combined add up to efficiency for us which translates into cost savings passed on to the customer.

   We always combine all wins for your shipping savings, just let us know. We're not trying to profit on shipping, that ain't what this is supposed to be about, right? We have a small handling fee to cover our costs for shipping materials and transportation to the shipper. This will vary from one to five dollars depending on the size of the box required, number of items won and amount of labor required to pack your items. Speaking of which, we pack for World War III. We've also had our hopes dashed several times by sellers that packed our items carelessly and of course they arrived damaged. Once again we would never want that for our high bidders so we pack your item like nobody's business, if ya know what we mean! To date (June, 2006) we have a perfect shipping record. All items shipped, ever, have arrived in good order with no damage.

  We use the eBay checkout system and we will send you an invoice. Please do NOT make payment until you have received your invoice from us. Please DO use the "Request total from seller" link after each auction ends that you've won. After you receive your invoice, please click on the "Pay Now" button and complete and send the forms. Especially if you are paying by money order as this will send us your info and will also automatically update our "My eBay" letting us know your money order is on the way. There's also an area there for you to include any personal message or special circumstances or requests.
