Little Sailboat on the Prairie

Southeastern North Dakota is where I and my wife call home.  Kids are all grown and gone to college or work.  We share our home with two cats, two dogs and two horses.  I farm while my wife is a Special Ed teacher.  We are twn miles from the nearest town with a lake five minutes away and rolling hills all around us.  Our yard is bordered on one side by the James River so wildlife is abundant.  A beautifully peaceful valley with lots of terrific neighbors to share with and yet have room for ourselves to get away from everything.  		 

I have held a desire to own a sailboat for years and having recently re-married, my wife felt the time was right to realize that dream so we purchased our first craft during our honeymoon and have since acquired a second for the kids to use during visits.  Consequently, I spend most of my ebay time looking for sailing items and my favorite so far is a series of plans for building my own boat.  Hopefully this will be a winter project for the future.  My wife has been a fantastic sailing mate when she is not perusing ebay for vintage glassware and unique items for around the house.
