Top Shelf is where you put the good glass! Hello! We are Frank, Melissa and Laura. We have been involved with eBay for over almost 5 years, have watched it grow into an amazing vehicle to buy and sell anything you desire! We accidentally found eBay when Melissa was doing an internet search on Westies, and a Westie figurine popped up for sale on eBay. Then, we were hooked, packages were arriving on a daily basis, jewelry, glassware, civil war memorabilia, anything that looked interesting! Finally, when we had filled the house, we decided to start selling.

A Passion for Glass We quickly determined we had a passion for glass, particularly what we would call uranium glass, or glass that glows under black light. This includes vaseline glass, custard glass, burmese, some peachblow, and some depression glass. When we were new to eBay, we quickly snapped up all the cutsie collectables in vaseline glass, not realizing they were new. We try to specialize only in old glass, the older the better, but occasionally offer a newer piece if it is sufficient quality and scarcity. This started out as a part time hobby for us, but now is a full-time job for Frank and part time for the rest of us. What we buy to sell is what we love, so we sell quality glass, specializing in uranium glasses, but almost any fine glass will show up on our listings and our collection!

Since we sell higher end glass, we don't usually find it at garage sales, but rather shows, shops, and road trips. Frank and Laura (almost 17) shop every weekend, Laura is turning into quite the antique expert! We always inspect our pieces to offer mint or near mint pieces, however, we would remind bidders that we do deal in old glass, and most old glass has manufacturing flaws that are not damage or wear and tear.
We used to sell out items with a reserve, but since eBay has raised their fees for reserve auctions, have chosen to offer our pieces at o Reserveto save the eBay fees and pass the bargains on to our customers.
