My husband Michael and I have been collector's for many years. Our favorites are varied: from diecast to figurines and ornaments to teddy bears! Snoopy and Winnie-the-Pooh top our list of favorite characters (I still have my Winnie-the-Pooh lamp I was given when I was five). My parents collected Hummel and Lladro pieces and contributed greatly to our collectible habit. We decided to start Terry's Collectibles and Ornaments so we could share our passion for collecting with others. Our goal is to serve our customers as we like to be served. We strive for accurate, complete listings and prompt shipping with items carefully packaged. Our primary focus is collectibles and ornaments, but we do offer other quality items throughout the year.

As collectors we know that the condition of an item can mean very different things to each collector. We strive to accurately and completely describe our items; trying to be your eyes and hands. For many items boxes are an important component and as appropriate we include box information as well. Please email if you have any questions, we check our email frequently and do our best to respond very quickly. And if you have a concern about a particular aspect of an item, we would be happy to email additional photos. If something in the listing doesn't make sense, please let us know. I may have had a typing malfunction!

For our ornaments we have created a grading system as follows:
New, like new - ornament does not appear to have been used, a judgement we make based on the condition of the packaging.
Excellent condition - Ornament is in excellent shape, no flaws, colors are true.
Flaws or discoloration will be noted: some of the earlier vintage white plastics are prone to yellowing.

Ornament boxes:
Mint condition - box is flawless, this does not happen often! Very few boxes new from the Hallmark store would be in mint condition to us.
Excellent condition - box is very crisp, may have some very slight wear, but overall is very clean looking to the eye.
Very good condition - may have light creasing, or some minor flaw, but overall still looks very nice.
Good condition - this box is still able to protect the ornament, but is showing typical wear. There may be creases, tears to the flaps, or dents, and general overall wear and tear.

Our other items like the figurines are usually categorized as new, excellent, very good, and good. Any individual flaws will be identified. Whenever possible we provide all the information we can about marks and ID numbers. Some of our pieces may be quite old or early pieces - in these cases condition is based on what is appropriate for that time period. Belleek comes to mind here, earlier pieces have a different color and weight than do pieces made more recently. If you are new to collecting, we encourage you to ask questions. If the item comes with its original box, that will be noted. Condition typically falls into the good category - having wear and tear, tape marks and such.
