Hi there to all of you Kelly and/or crochet lovers! My name is Tracey Eelkema and I live in the Land of Living Skies - Saskatchewan, Canada! I am originally from the West Coast of British Columbia, but relocated to Saskatchewan last summer (2004). It was a tough move, as I was born and raised in the same town I had lived my whole life. I have always crocheted a lot, but since we moved, I crochet more than ever before. I love crocheting OOAK fashions for Kelly, Barbie's little sister. I love Kellies! I love all things Barbie, but I especially love Kelly. Ever since I started collecting Kellies, I have been amazed at the wide range of Barbie collectors . Some collectors are only interested in Barbie clothes. Some only collect the dolls . Others, like myself, love little Kelly. I have been crocheting for over 25 years, and I am, what you would call, a "crochet-a-holic." When I was 12 years old, my granny Bessie taught me to crochet. Most of my spare time is spent designing and crocheting my latest Kelly outfit. All my Kelly fashions are One-Of-A-Kind, and are made with lots of love and creativity. My doll clothes are custom fit to Kelly specifically, but they also fit other 4 1/2" fashion dolls. All my fashions have snap closures, hand-sewn on securely with good quality, invisible thread. I crochet other treasures, from time to time. I mostly crochet with thread, because it is my absolute favorite! When I manage to tear myself away from designing and crocheting for Kelly, I create thread bears and their accessories, floral doilies and other heirloom quality keepsakes. When crocheting these other treasures, I usually use a pattern or combination of patterns. |

I am a stay at home wife and mother of two lovely, sweet daughters. My oldest is a teenager and my youngest a toddler, so life is definitely never boring! I have a wonderful, supportive husband, who I swear is really an angel underneath all those regular clothes. I am a very lucky woman and am very content staying at home. A while ago, I was chatting with a friend, and she told me I should think about selling my Kelly clothes on Ebay. I had been fascinated with Ebay for awhile, having just made my first purchase (a crochet magazine!) a few months before. How exciting it was to be the winning bidder! Since then, I have made more purchases, and all my transactions have been very pleasant. So, that got me to thinking.... I love bargain store shopping and garage saling. When I see little Kellies, I just have to rescue them! I love to bring them home, give them a bath, fix their hair and crochet them a beautiful outfit....Someday soon I'd like to find homes for my little orphaned Kellies. Please feel free to inquire anytime regarding custom thread crochet. I love to create special things for people. My work is heirloom quality, with the utmost attention to detail. I am very picky and finicky when it comes to my craft, and I ensure all creations are created and kept in optimum condition for delivery to their new owner. You will receive your item promptly and finely packaged. So, bye for now, and thanks for taking the time to get to know me better. If you have any questions, comments or ideas, email me anytime. I'd love to hear from you. |
