| Hello and thanks for visiting my About Me Page. My name is Drew Griffin and I am an Education Specialist Trained by eBay as well as a Trading Assistant. I started selling on eBay in May of 1998 and haven't looked back since. I actually started selling on eBay by accident. I first started by selling my old CDs VHS tapes and Books on eBay's sister company Half.com. I was then introduced to eBay. Like many others on eBay, I started by selling some things around the house. After realizing the potential I was hooked! It was after a community yard sale, that I realized I could then sell other people's stuff and make a profit doing it. The yard sale yielded a poor return for my efforts. The slow day at the yard sale allowed me to browse my neighbor's yard and then I found a few milk crates full of music CDs. I think there were a few hundred CDs with popular titles. I asked my neighbor how much he was charging for the CDs. He said "5.00". I then realized he meant $5.00 for the entire collection. I jumped on it. After a few weeks a barely had the heart to tell him of what I did with them. Combining the use of Half.com and eBay I was able to realize a profit of more than $1000.00. After telling my neighbor he was upset with himself, surprised and encouraged by my success. He then asked me if I could teach him how to use sell on eBay. My career as a Trading Assistant and Education Specialist had begun.
I started a business formerly known as 360auctions. After attending eBay Live 2006 in Las Vegas Nevada, I changed the name of the company upon a recommendation of one of the featured speakers Guy Kawasaki. I learned so much from eBay Live 2006 that it propelled my eBay business ahead quickly. I renamed my business Auction Guys Inc. My company is a full service Trading Assistant company. I sell under both ebay user ids ; trader-assistant and auctionguysco.
