Hello and Welcome,

My name is Michael Owen (Mick to my friends). I am known as the Traffic Insider because I consistently generate good, quality traffic to my own websites and have supplied excess traffic that I cannot or will not use to many of the traffic resellers you see on the Internet and here on eBay. In fact, most of the traffic resellers you see online or on eBay since 2001 have been taught by me, and the others have tried to copy what I have done. 

I have owned my own businesses since I was 21 years old, way back in 1971 and started buiding businesses on the Internet in 1998.   I hold a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance from the University of North Texas and was first name to Marquis Who's Who for Business Leaders in 1994. So you can see I am not a newbie to business.

Although I primarily invest in and develop real estate (the traditional and virtual kinds) I have also invested in other businesses along the way and have been the Executive Producer for a TV Informercial and been president of an Investment Company.

However, what I enjoy doing most is building and developing real estate. Especially the virtual kind because the potential returns for the amount invested are so great and the risk is minimal.

What I mean by virtual real estate is what most people call a domain name with some sort of content attached to it.  I develop these "properties" by driving quality traffic to them and then earning income from ads shown, click through to other sites, sales of affiliate items,  and referrals made. It is a great business if you know what you are doing.  The learning curve is steep and constantly expanding.

Although I buy a lot of the ebooks and courses available on the subjects of domaining, affiliate marketing, and Internet marketing I find that there is very little useful information in any of them regardless of the cost.  The reason is that the basic information never changes, the gimmicks only work for a very short time or worse, can cost you your business and the loss of all the progress you have already made. However, for the person just starting out or trying to make their first few hundreds of dollars it can be beneficial to at least get the basic foundation of knowledge you will need before you can start to grow a business. For that reason, I will occasionally make some ebooks that contain useful information for beginners available for sale through my eBay listings and some of my websites.  Business growth comes from personal experience, a mentor, or trial and error and not from an ebook and course.

There is no push-button, set-it-and-forget-it system that really works.  The "gurus" will not give you the ultimate magic formula because they either are unwilling to share ALL their secrets with you, or they can't because the market is constantly changing.

You can make a very good living on the Internet, and many do and more.  But it takes a commitment of time and money. You have to understand that although the Internet seems like it would create instant wealth because ot the speed at which things move and appear, a lot of ground work preparation has to take place first, a solid foundation has to be set and stabilized before you can start to build the kind of income that most people seek from starting their online business.

I actually do very little business on eBay because my offline and other online businesses make me so much more than I could possibly make on eBay.  Most of my online activites involve developng my own domains with content which in turn leads to several different income streams and also some Affiliate Marketing for other people's products, primarily through ClickBank. 

This business is very competitive but still very lucrative.  I am so disappointed when I hear someone talk about scams or that it can' be done, becaue there are really very few scams and it CAN be done if you know what you are doing and have the time and resources to get it done.  For that reason, I have decided to work with a few people and help them make money online. The programs I have set up to help others have affordable entry points and are ideal for the person who has a full-time job elsewhere but wants to make some extra money through online acitivties.
