I am directly related to the first woman governor of the Great State of Texas, MA FERGUSON. I grew up on a farm in Central Texas and although I no longer live there, there is the old saying, "YOU CAN TAKE THE GIRL OUT OF THE COUNTRY BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THE COUNTRY OF OF THE GIRL."
I love anything related to country life. I am especially fond of western and southwestern items. I try to find unique and collectible items from all eras (antique to present day).

I have an awesome family and they are my strongest supporters. I am married and have a son and daughter and three lovely grandchildren. We live in the central part of Texas on a small horse ranch.
My son is a high school girl's basketball coach at a local high school. His interests are history, weather, politics and golf.My daughter is a lovely young woman. She has many interests and her passion is horses. She is a vet tech at a local veterinarian.
My three grandchildren are 20, 17 and 12. Almost all grown up. Emily is in her Junior year in high school. Hannah is in 6th grade and Aaron is attending a local junior college and working with his dad.
The love of my life and what keeps me going is my smallest ranch hand, Dudley, a Pembroke Welch Corgi. He has me well trained but help with the chores every now and then.
My biggest fan and most ardent supporter is my husband, Hal. We have been married (oops about to give my age) over 40 years.
