Welcome. My name is, Paul Scalera, and I established Treasure House back in 2002. At that time I had been collecting for many years and decided to liquidate some items on eBay. This continued for almost a year and then I acquired an inheritance and decided to concentrate on collecting. Once again, I have reached a point where things should be liquidated. So, I’m back on eBay.

I do not consider myself a dealer. I consider myself a serious collector. I have no physical shop, just a home full of antiques and collectibles which I enjoy and use in my daily life. Many pieces are from Lancaster County, PA. and the East Coast, where I lived and traveled for 36 years. Many other pieces are from the West Coast, where I have lived and traveled for the past 16 years. Some items are, also, sold on consignment.

My passion for antiques began many years ago, when I received an Appraisal Degree under the tutelage of Ralph and Terry Kovel, Emyl Jenkins, and William C. Ketchum, Jr. They inspired me to devote my life to the discovery, education, and acquisition of antiques. Inevitably, this venture led to a home full of treasures which established Treasure House.

Over the years I have refined my taste, concentrating on the acquisition of unique and historical pieces. Professional education, personal research, and physical examination of items have provided me with an eye and feel for objects of quality. Common sense has been my guide, fortune has been my provider, and you have an opportunity to be the beneficiary.

The recent global economic situation has forced people to reconsider traditional investments in the Stock Market and other Securities. A new breed of investors are now realizing that quality Art & Antiques retain their value, have a solid history of appreciation, and are not subject to corrupt business practices.
