Hello, this is
a
short note to tell you something about myself. My name is Jim Shutts, I
am 46 & have been a ebay member since October 14, 1997. I'm also privileged to be
a ebay power seller. Which means you can bid with confidence!! I live
in
the Finger Lakes Region & the Capitol District in Upstate NY. I am
a general line antiquedealer. I'm a
true, so
called "picker", but I like to think of myself as a "treasure
hunter".
I have posted everything on ebay from Aurene to
Zebra rugs. You may
ask,
how do I find these treasures? I knock doors for a living,
meaning
I drive around the country side & look for the right type
of
home, knock at their door, introduce myself and ask them if
they might have anything they might be interested in selling. I
have
had great success in doing this & you, my customers, get the first
chance
to own these treasures that have never been offered for sale
before.
Because I have personally bought everything
you see on my auction page
myself, I have a story for each piece. 98% of everything I
buy comes directly from the original owners. It is all fresh (new
to the market) & in untouched original condition. I
have
been doing this for over 28 yrs (I knocked on my first door when I was 15
years old!).

ABOUT MY NAME....
After a lot of thought, I knew I was going to be selling more than
watches
on ebay & get into high quality smalls. I wanted something
that would cover everything
I sell. When people ask me what I do for a living, I got tired of
saying antique dealer or a "picker" (that isn't a great sounding
title),
so
I started to tell them that I was a "treasure hunter".
This
then leads to an interesting conversation. So it just seemed
natural
to me to have that in my business name. So TREASURE
HUNT
UNLIMITED L.L.C. it was.
For what
I find
& buy is unlimited. I like to think of myself as head treasure
hunter.

I am a ebay power seller.
That
means I have to sell over a certain dollar amount on ebay each
month,
maintain outstanding feed back & offer a guarantee on everything I
sell to maintain the privilege of being a ebay power seller. What
this really means is that you can bid with confidence!!
