Where do you acquire such quantities of Quality pre-owned furniture?

From our many years in the business and valuable contacts we bring items in from estate homes under contract through various sources such as estate attorneys, bankruptcy orders and consignment from all over the east coast. Items come in daily from estate homes from New York, Pennsylvania Maryland , Virginia and most of the East Coast. We are very selective about which items we offer for sale on ebay as most would be proudly displayed in our homes and would not offer you something we did not like ourselves.

Do you ship the items?

While we do not personally ship or own a shipping company, we are here to assist in every aspect of the transaction. Because our customer do such a high volume of sales for many shipping companies, they routinely offer our customers discounted shipping over many other sellers. The reason is these shipping companies are in our warehouse doing pickups on a regular basis. If you live on the East Coast or are in the Chicago area, email us directly as we are able to give you Special, drastically discounted quotes for professional in house delivery.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping furniture is not like shipping a small item via UPS. (although some smaller items can ship UPS, email for details) The recommended way to ship furniture is via a Blanket wrap carrier and for quotes that we directly gave estimated times   4-6 weeks. Often times sooner and some areas may be as long as 8 weeks.   Check directly with other companies but most seem to be within 45 days of pickup for shipping. Please understand, we are not the shipping company but will do what we can to expedite shipping.

Can I pick up my item at your warehouse?

Items can be picked up and you are encouraged to come see our warehouse as we are happy to meet our customers. We do not charge anything for pickups as some sellers do. Just be sure to bring any packing material such as blankets and rope and we will assist in loading anything you purchase. And you never know, you may find something else you cant live without!

I am concerned about purchasing such a large or expensive item over the internet?

We totally understand your concern. If you see an item that you are interested in, view the numerous photos and if you have any question don't hesitate to email or give us a call directly as we are there to make sure you are getting exactly what you think you are buying. Our past reputation can be found among our many satisfied customers and we are there to make a positive seamless transaction. We are there 24 hours a day via email with usual response time within a few hours at most. Normal business hours, you will most likely have responses within minutes. We can also be reached via telephone at 215-453-8490 and we will respond as soon as possible to all calls.

What is an item is not what I wanted or expected?

Be sure to email or call to clarify anything before buying, but in the rare occurrence something doesn't workout, fit, color etc. Be sure to notify the shipping company and driver at time of delivery. It is much easier and cheaper to correct it at that time than after the driver leaves. It will be the purchasers responsibility to pay for the shipping and the return charge for shipping, but we will refund for the full Purchase price, once item has been returned to our warehouse. This is a rare occurrence but it is an option as we don't want you to take delivery of an item that you are just not going to be pleased with.

I have items similar to what you offer, and wish to sell, do you purchase?

If you have an estate or items for sale, feel free to contact us and if they meet our criteria, we will gladly purchase outright, sell on consignment or try to offer assistance for you to liquidate your items.

Are you affiliated with any other ebay Sellers?

Stenella Antiques is affiliated with ebay seller Tricks-of-the-Trade and FurnitureOnly only! We are not associated with any other ebay sellers. Because we are one of the leading furniture sellers on ebay, our listings, description, style and policies are often copied. While we do take this as an uninvited compliment, it can be confusing to a prospective buyer. Stenella Antiques sells approx 200 pieces of higher quality pre-owned furniture per month on ebay and are proud of what we and our customers have built. Unfortunately it is very easy for new sellers to just copy someone else rather that be original.

Terms and Conditions

We offer all items for sale on an as-is basis. We are selling pre-owned and antique furniture and therefore offer no guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied. Some items may have minor cosmetic touchups, repairs, or signs or normal use. We do our best to give detailed photos and notify of any serious defects or issues. Item descriptions pertaining to condition and information of a piece is to the best of our expertise and knowledge, but is only to be used as a guide for bidding. Condition and descriptions are a matter of personal judgment and can vary from one person to another. All items are available to be viewed or inspected prior to bidding if you desire. Please email any questions and we will do our best to answer in a prompt an accurate manner. Do not Assume! If you have a question, please ask. We check emails throughout the day and will get back to you as soon as possible.

We are only a furniture wholesale/retail outlet and all shipping is third party. No shippers, work directly for us, we only make recommendations or pass information along to their company. All shipping costs are to be paid for by Buyer. (unless listed in item description) This includes packing charges on UPS items. We will take items to UPS and they will package and notify buyer for exact shipping and packaging charges. Any refunds, either cash or credit, shall be for the purchase price only; shipping costs excluded. All shipping is at the expense of the buyer and shall be paid directly to appropriate shipping company. We recommend all items that are shipped to be insured for purchase price. In the event of damage or loss, we will provide whatever documentation is necessary to help buyer receive insurance or reimbursement from shipping company. If you have ANY questions, concerns or problems, please email or call me directly and I will do what I can to answer, accommodate or solve. Payments must be received in full within 10 days of close of auction (unless prior arrangements have been made). Any item not paid for within 30 days will be resold and unavailable for purchase by non-paying bidder. Any items that are paid for, but not picked up within 6 months of close will be resold and any monies received forfeited (unless prior arrangements have been made). We will gladly store and hold items for up to 45 days at no charge, after that we charge $35 for each month thereafter. We still require payment within 10 days of auction close. By bidding on one of our auctions here at eBay seller Tricks-of-the-trade, indicates that you have read and accept these conditions.
