| Distance Selling Regulations 2000
FOR THE BENEFIT OF UK CUSTOMERS ONLY.
Under
the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 ("the
Regulations"), UK customers have the right to cancel an order placed
with us within 7 (seven) working days of receipt of the goods, This
does not include items that have been personalised or made to your
specifications; including created-to-order gift purchases, specially
requested items, or other items that you have unsealed; or cost of
carriage. The Regulations are designed to protect consumers when
buying products by mail order or over the Internet as opposed to in
person in a shop or other retail outlet. It also doesnt cover items
won in an online auction. However, although the Distance Selling
Regulations allow you 7-day cancellation period, TropicanaUK is happy
to go beyond the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations by offering
you a full 30 day refund/return option.
To
cancel an order under the Distance Selling Regulations you must notify
us in writing by e-mail or letter, quoting your name, eBay item
listing number, address and contact telephone number.
The
effect of the Regulations is to allow a UK customer to withdraw from
the contract as if it had not been made.
However, there are certain important conditions and
limitations. Please read them carefully; they apply to your order.
These
are:-

Cancellation must be in writing. A telephone call is
not sufficient.
**
You must return the goods to us AT YOUR
EXPENSE (including all packaging, product boxes, etc.) unopened
and in exactly the same condition in which the goods were supplied to
you. This means that you must not destroy or dispose of the packaging
in which the goods are supplied until you know that you do not intend
to return the goods.
**
Please note that proof of posting is NOT proof
of receipt. You are liable for the goods until they are delivered to
us, and we will not reimburse you until the goods are returned to us
in good (fit for resale) condition. We strongly advise you to use
Royal Mail Special Delivery or other insured and tracked delivery
service for this purpose in order to be sure that any goods returned
are delivered safely to us. Proof of postage is not the same as proof
of delivery.

If goods returned to us are found to be damaged, we
will not refund any money. We will tell you this in writing by e-mail.
The goods will then be kept at our premises for 90 days from the date
of that written notice, after which time we will dispose of them
without any further notice to you. You may request that we return the
item(s) to you before the expiry of the 90-day period, in writing, and
you will be responsible for the cost of return, using Royal Mail
Special Delivery.
ANY GOODS RETURNED TO US ARE NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY UNTIL
DELIVERED TO US. WE ACCEPT NO LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT WHEN YOU
ARE RETURNING GOODS TO US.
We therefore recommend that you use the Royal Mail Special Delivery
service to return goods to us. This service is available from any UK
Post Office, and provides a guaranteed next working day delivery, with
a signed receipt, plus insurance of up to £250, for a very
reasonable cost.
Please contact us to discuss a possible return BEFORE you
send anything to us. Any items returned to us without prior
consultation will not be subject to possible refund. Administration,

Please
note that items purchased from TropicanaUK are either for personal or
gift use, and are not to be used for business, or for re-sale.
Customers buying from us to re-sell will regrettably be blocked from
buying from us on a future occasion, once a re-sale has been
identified or suspected.
Please
also be aware that we ship only to the United Kingdom, United States,
Canada, Australia, Japan and member states of the European Union.
Effective May 1 2009, we will not be able to ship to European
countries which are not member states of the EU; this list includes
(but is not limited to) Norway, Switzerland, Russia, Iceland, Turkey,
Gibraltar, etc.
Finally, please be aware that in accordance with the terms
of both the PayPal Buyer Protection Programme and the PayPal Seller
Protection Programme, we are required to ship your package(s) to the
address shown on your PayPal payment. We do not ship to forwarding agents or other third parties. Requests for us to ship packages
to alternate addresses will regrettably be denied. Therefore, please
ensure that the shipping address you choose when sending your payment
to us is indeed the address you'd like to have your purchase(s)
shipped to.
