Howdy from the big state of Texas!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Kathy and I am proud to be one of your Ebay team members. I consider all of us on the same team, the team of finding GREAT bargains and making LOTS OF money! Ebay is definitely the way to go!!!
Okay, here is just a little about myself. I am an avid gardener, a big Houston Astros fan, and am a proud parent/grandparent. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband of 33 years and 2 great children. I am happy to say that I have two ( plus one on the way) grandchildren to love and spoil! The picture you see is my grandfather's homeplace I inherited a few years ago. It is located in Northeast Texas (deep in the hills) and was originally built in 1912. Our country house sits on top of a hill on 17 beautiful acres of land. My husband and I are truly blessed to own it and are trying very hard to keep it up to to hand down to our children. Of course, the house has seen some downsizing and remodeling over the years and is still in need of a lot of repairs we simply can not afford to do unless we have added income.
My father lived in this house all his life until his tragic death at the early age of 68 in 2002. Dad was the youngest of 17 children and all of his siblings except 3 have gone to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus! My grandfather died right before my father was born and grandma raised her children in this house with income she made from growing acres of vegetables and fruits, raising cows/ chickens /hogs, churning butter, milking cows, making handmade quilts, canning vegetables, baking desserts, house sitting, and Lord knows what else! She was a remarkable woman!
As you can see, keeping this place for my children is very important to me for sentimental reasons. This house is the reason I started selling on Ebay. I thought this would be another hobby for me and at the same time I could make a little extra income. Ebaying has grown to being an almost full-time job thanks to all of you who have purchased items from me. I especially would like to take this opportunity now to say THANK YOU as the money I make from my sales go towards the repairs on our country home. It is so very much appreciated!
