The Ultimate Thomas Store has been a member of the eBay community since 1998. Since 2006, we have specialized in licensed Thomas & Friends merchandise, including items that can not be found in regular "big box" superstores. In addition to setting up shop here on eBay, we also have our own online website, sell on other various eCommerce sites, and at Train Shows, Fairs and Festivals. Many of these shows are based in the northeast, but at times we do travel to other parts of the country for larger events.

We promise the following to you:

• Prompt answers to any question you may have

• Super-fast shipping time. If for some reason there will be a delay in shipping, we will promptly notify you

• Fair Shipping & Handling charges. We charge the actual amount that it costs us to ship the item, and a small handling fee to cover packing materials and other expenses. If you order multiple items, we combine shipping charges to save you even more.

For most items on eBay, we use the Shipping Calculator to determine the approximate shipping costs from our door to yours. Shipping for multiple winning items can be combined. Sometimes, the combined shipping total calculated in the eBay shipping calculator is much higher than the actual amount. In this case, a corrected amount is sent on your invoice. If payment was made already, we refund the difference to you. See the Product & Bidding Disclaimer below for details.

In most cases, we use the United States Postal Service for shipment of your order. In most cases, Priority Mail is the default service. For most of our items, this is the quickest and most economical way to ship your order. In some cases, depending on the size of your order and where you are located, we may offer additional shipping choices to reduce your shipping charges. Other options you can use would be USPS Parcel Post and FedEx Ground. Express Mail service can also be used for certain items. Please contact us for availability of this service.

International shipments are shipped via USPS Priority Mail International. In most cases, shipping times via these services takes from between 6-10 business days. Delivery times vary depending on how long the package takes to clear customs.

A small handling charge is included in each shipment. This handling charge is necessary to cover the additional expenses associated with shipping your order safely and securely. We use quality packing materials such as bubble wrap and/or packing peanuts, depending on what items your order contains.

Customs forms for International shipments can not be declared as "gifts." We also will not lower the Declared Value of the Package. We strive to stay in line with local and international laws, and have found that such shipments sent from a store garner extra scrutiny, thus delaying your delivery even further.

To keep in line with eBay's accepted payment guidelines, we gladly accept the following methods of payment for purchases on eBay: Paypal, American Express, Visa and MasterCard. If you would like to pay via another method, please contact us.

We pride ourselves on fast shipping, and in most cases, your order will ship same or next-business day from when payment is received. 

Please remember that bidding is a contract. Please do not bid if you do not intend on completing the transaction. We do our best to post all information we know about an item in our auction descriptions. If there is something you are unclear about, please ask us before you place your bid.

• New York State residents are required by law to add applicable sales tax of 8.625% (4.625% for clothing items).
• Payment is due within 7 days of the auction's close. If payment isn't received by that time, we will start the NPB (Non Paying Bidder) process.
• Shipping can be combined for multiple items. Combined shipping will be calculated for all items ending on the same day, and a combined invoice will be emailed to you detailing the shipping charges. If you wish to bid on items ending on different days and wish to combine these orders, please contact us.
• All non-payments are reported to eBay. Please don't bid unless you are serious about buying.
• When your item arrives, please remember to leave feedback. This is very important to our business and tells us that your product has arrived and the transaction is complete.
• If you post positive feedback, our automated system will post positive feedback for you within 24 hours. If there is a problem with your order, please contact us before leaving feedback, so we may attempt to correct the problem. If you post negative/neutral feedback, we will assume there is nothing we can do to satisfy you and the transaction will be complete.
• If your item is received damaged or defective, please contact us immediately so we can rectify the problem.
