A resident of South Minneapolis, Molly Spilane is well known for her quirky and unique wearable art jewelry and stylish art prints. Stepping outside the box, Spilane uses items such as repurposed and recycled material and industrial supplies, as well as heat treated and molded acrylic.
Spilane attended the accredited College of Visual Arts in Saint Paul, Minnesota and has won many awards over the years for her whimsical creations.
A mother of two and owner of Unique Art Pendants, Spilane's work is known for her use of scientific vintage anatomy illustrations, flora and fauna, and heartwarming retro images.
Her work can be found in various museums and boutiques worldwide and her motto: "Wear Something Different" has become a mantra for those who enjoy her uncommon adornments.
