ACCEPTABLE PAYMENTS for United States Residents:

1. Paypal (Use bank account funds or credit card),
2. Propay (Use your credit card online & you don't have to sign up for an account. Use your credit card like you would when you shop at the mall, etc.)
Checks and cash are not accepted.

I usually don't accept International bidders and payments.

WHEN TO EXPECT YOUR PACKAGE:

I try to get packages out the day I receive payment but there are times that it might take an extra day or two at the most. I do not ship on the weekend. Some days are harder on me than others so please try to be patient with me (I've never been chastised for a late package...usually I'm praised for fast shipments)

FEEDBACK:

I give glowing feedback on ebay! I love to help people out with increasing their positive feedback. As soon as you leave feedback for me, I'll know that the transaction is fully complete and then I'll be able leave feedback for you in return.

SHIPPING INFORMATION:

I ship through the post office, unless it's a real heavy item. Heavy items can *usually* be sent cheaper through UPS.
I use Delivery Confirmation on ALL packages, even when I have to pay for it myself.
Insurance is optional at your expense. I am not responsible for items damaged during shipping or ones that have been lost or stolen. If you have me purchase insurance for you, and something happens to your package en route to your home, I'll get a copy of the insurance receipt and send you the original and getting things settled from there on out is between you and the post office. My liability ends once your item(s) leaves my hands. The rates for insurance with USPS are:
$1.75 for pkg's that are worth between a penny to $50.00.
$2.25 for pkg's that are worth between $50.01-$100.00
$2.75 for pkg's that are worth between $101.00-$200.00
$5.70 for pkg's that are worth between $300.01 to $400
$6.70 for pkg's that are worth between $400.01 to $500
$7.70 for pkg's that are worth between $500.01 to $600
$7.70  plus $1.00 per $100 or fraction thereof over $600 in declared value for pkg's that are worth between $601.00 to $5000.00 (maximum liability is $5,000)

You can go to the USPS site to calculate shipping charges. All items will be shipped from zip code
77841. (see below for links to the American Shipping Rate Calculutor and the International one.)

RETURN POLICY:

Like all auctions in your town, eBay auctions are the same: Sales should be considered final. I am honest in my descriptions and list every flaw I can find. I won't accept returns unless major flaws are accidentally omitted from the listing. If I've made a minor goof, I'll give you some money or add an extra item in your shipment. If I've made a major goof, then it would be at my expense to refund you your auction money AND your shipping charges (most ebay sellers won't do that.) Depending on what the item is, I'll either pay for return shipping or let you keep the item. "Buyers remorse" isn't permitted. Again, please know that I am an honest woman. I don't believe in hiding a flaw so that I can sell an item. If I see a flaw, you're going to know about it.

PERSONAL STUFF ABOUT ME:

I LOVE eBay! I am admittedly a shopaholic. What I find the most fun is buying things on ebay, of course, and at thrift stores and garage sales. Once in awhile I'm able to attend an auction. If I ever win the lottery, I would still purchase items at those places I just mentioned because I just enjoy it so much! I told this to my husband one time and he said "Nah, if we won the lottery you'd be able to shop at expensive places and buy whatever you want brand new." LOL He just doesn't understand women, does he? I guess I would buy some brand new things but I'd be busy looking through the sales racks and then I'd spend the rest of the day at my thrift stores and garage sales! LOL

I'm 49, married to the most wonderful man in the world (albeit he isn't too keen about my shopaholicism and salesaholicism, hehe) and I have 3 kids and 3 grandkids. I also have ex step children that I raised for 10 years of their childhood that I adore and will always love.

I'm not able to work outside the home because of many health problems. I have Fibromyalgia, CFIDS/CFS, Plantar Faciitis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Mitral Valve Prolapse (benign bad heart valve)... and the list goes on. Yes I am a wreck! LOL

Chronic pain and fatigue is very debilitating. So eBay has been a godsend to me! Setting my own hours and working from home is wonderful! If you have Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (also known as CFS "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome") or know someone who does, there is a great website that you might want to check out:

http://www.immunesupport.com

Another thing you might like to know about me is that I'm an advocate for mental health. It's time to erase the stigma of mental illnesses! I'd like to mention a few words specifically about depression. Depression isn't a matter of being sad, it is an actual physical illness in the brain, which manifests itself by not only causing profound sadness (that is putting it mildly), but it also causes the body to slow down too much. You walk slower, you talk slower, you think slower, you react slower. Your internal organs even become sluggish or work improperly! This is all caused by faulty brain chemicals. A depressed person can't pull themselves up by the bootstraps by sheer will and determination, because depression isn't a lack of will or a matter of being a weak person. If you suffer from Depression or a Mood Disorder I'd like you to know that you're not alone. There are some great websites on the internet where you can find information and helpful support:

http://www.dbsalliance.org/ (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance) (Formally known as National Depressive and Manic Depressive Assocation)

http://www.nami.org (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill)

How to take clothing measurements:

Are you an ebay seller who is unsure how to take clothing measurements? I've written some simple directions that are easy to follow:

To get a bust measurement, you'd lay the shirt/dress/jacket flat on a table or bed, measure left to right from just under the left armpit, go across to the right, to the right armpit. Take that measurement and double it. So if it is 20" across, the bust measurement is actually 40".

To get the length of a shirt/dress/jacket, measure from the middle of a shoulder seam and go straight down to the bottom hem.

To get the length of a skirt, measure from the top of the middle of the waist and go straight down to the bottom hem of the skirt.

To get hip measurements, measure the fullest part of the seat of the pants/jeans or if a dress or skirt, take a good guess where you think the hips should be. Measure from left to right and double what you get. If it is 30" across, then the hips are 60".

To measure the sweep (the fullness of a skirt or dress) measure from the very bottom left side of the skirt/dress alongside the hem all the way to the bottom right side of the hem. Double what you get. If it is 30" across, then the sweep is 60".

To measure the length of sleeves, measure from the seam on the shoulder all the way down to the hem/bottom of the sleeve. If the outfit has drop sleeves (drop sleeves are when the seam where the shoulder and arm meet goes further down the arm, as if it was dropping over the shoulder quite a bit ) then measure the actual sleeve length as previously mentioned, and then state to the customer that the dress/shirt/jacket has drop sleeves and provide shoulder width.

To measure shoulder width, measure from the left shoulder/sleeve seam to the right shoulder/sleeve seam going across the shoulders or if the collar is in the way too much, measure just below that. Do not double this measurement.

To get a waist size of skirt or pants, measure straight across from left to right at the very top of the waist. Take the measurement you get and double it for the waist size. So if it's 10" across, the waist size is 20".

To get an inseam of a pair of pants, you'd measure from the X part of the crotch, straight down the leg to the hem of the pants. Do not double your measurement.

To get the rise (the distance between the crotch and the waist line in pants and jeans) measure from the X part of the crotch up to the middle to the waist line. Do not double your measurements.
