Welcome to the About Me page for Uniquely Nordic Scandinavian Gifts & Imports.
My name is Valerie and I am the owner of Uniquely Nordic. I was raised with many Scandinavian traditions as a child and lived in Norway when I was a teenager. I have family and friends in Norway and visit every chance I get. That is where this dream started. I am now a stay at home mom with two young girls. What started as a hobby for me (finding beautiful Scandinavian "stuff") has turned into my part time job!
I am a big believer in feedback, it is the foundation of Ebay. I always leave it for buyers as soon as I know that they've received their item and love it. I don't believe in making money on shipping fees, and try to keep costs as low as possible, charging only what I pay for shipping and fees.
