We are a team - my wife and I - Bev and Jim McDuffie.  We have been married since June 1968.  We have two children and three grandchildren.  We are retired and our greatest enjoyment is traveling.  We have found people all over the world to be kind, helpul, and friendly.

Many years ago Jim started collecting stamps and eventually specialized in aerophilately.  Gradually this expanded into other airline collectibles - almost all of them being paper items.  The collections eventually included stamps, first flight covers, postcards, timetables, books and magazines, and especially, labels.  Shortly before retiring we decided to start selling the collections to fund a travel budget.  So, that was the start of Upperdek Collectibles.  We have been selling on eBay since 2000.  We have had customers from all over the world and it has been a great pleasure for us to do business with so many wonderful people.  What a great community eBay is.

Jim compiles the material for the auctions and writes all the lot titles and the lot descriptions.  Yes - you can blame him for all those adjectives!  Bev does the real hard work - scanning and taking photos of the lots, posting the auctions and watching over them, answers all the questions, packages and mails the items after the auctions, and does the bookkeeping!  It is definitely a two-person operation!

We eagerly welcome new bidders.  Please bid with the utmost confidence.  We have a most enviable feedback rating.  That rating was not achieved through luck.  Please check out our feedback and decide for yourself.  We make it the highest priority to give all of our customers complete satisfaction.  Please note that you have our 100% guarantee.  You can return any item for any reason whatsover,  your only cost is return postage.

We typically have an auction every week.  The exception, of course, is when we're on one of our travel adventures or when we're out beating the bushes for items that our customers would enjoy.  If people have airline items they think we might be interested in, we are always looking for clean and collectible material.

Please note our low shipping charges.  We try to keep them as reasonable and simple as possible.  We have a single shipping charge for addresses in the US and a different shipping charge for countries outside the US.  We offer a shipping bargain for those who buy more than one lot.  You pay only the basic shipping charge - no matter how many lots you buy.  What a great opportunity that is!  Also, please note that our larger lots are still only charged just the basic shipping fee.  This greatly increases our expenses, but it keeps things simple.
