The name Urban Cupcake simply springs from the term City Girl. Born and raised in southern Cali, I still live in and heart L.A. where the inspiration of this store grew in my colorful, Los Angeles living room. Having a creative background in art & fiction, I once designed and sold lamps at Santa Monica’s Farmer’s Market and on eBay. Now working in entertainment, proud of a brother who paints, and with friends who rock their own fashions, I’m always left inspired.

Favoring modern, urban-inspired themes with a feminine appeal in art and handmade, original designs in jewelry and accessories, the UrbanCupcake.com mission is to show off L.A.’s unparalleled raw talent and eclectic style, bringing L.A.’s freshest artists and designers to the unseen forefront.
