The Urban Geisha Company Beverly Hills Mother & Daughter Blue Eyed Geisha Urban Geisha is the place for East West Fusion....where styles of old Japan are merged with contemporary culture to create an original new look. The designer for Urban Geisha is Miriam Slater, a Los Angeles based artist who has been painting geisha for years. Slater works in a variety of styles (both western and eastern) with the focus of this store being mainly on designs inspired by Japan. Geishas of old Japan often wore elaborate hair ornaments called kanzashi, and some of these are periodically offered here.
