ABOUT ME
I am an American Gem Cutter. I am a member of, and certified by the US Faceters Guild. I LOVE gemstones. Some years ago I felt I had to learn faceting because I see a lot of wonderful stones cut miserably and not showing their beauty to the fullest potential. So I jumped right in it. Now I cut gemstones myself. I sometimes participate in a faceting competition. (It is for how precisely you cut a given design, not for how fast, just in case you are wondering.)
ABOUT MY STONES ON eBAY
I custom-cut and polish all of my stones with utmost care. I use an American-made, precision faceting machine. I cut a rough with angles optically specific to each material. All of these maximize the beauty and brilliance of the cut stone. I often use unique and special faceting designs not readily available anywhere else. My gemstones look much more vibrant and crisp than commercial-cut gemstones. They are all settable in fine jewelry. I describe my stones as accurately as I can. Finally my stones are backed by my no-question-asked, money back guarantee.
Note on the gemstone girdle: The girdles on my stones are faceted and polished. That is the hallmark of a custom hand cut gemstone of the highest quality. On the other hand, a ground, unpolished girdle is a sign of mass produced stones. If you find any gemstone with a faceted, polished girdle, you are lucky and the stone must be a superb one.
