Urban Village Scooters Shop

Urban Village Scooters is the only dealer in Rochester, NY that’s devoted exclusively to scooters.

We are located in Rochester’s exciting South Wedge section, at 700 South Clinton Ave. We’ve been open since March of 2007, and currently carry scooters by Genuine, Schwinn, SYM and EVT.

Our repair shop services all makes of scooters – vintage Vespas and Hondas, modern scooters from China and India, and pretty much everything else. We stock hundreds of different parts, and with close to a dozen different parts sources chances are we can find whatever you need.

In addition to scooters and parts we offer jackets, helmets, gloves, goggles, and all sorts of accessories to make your scooter stand out from the pack. We even have a Stella that we’ve juiced up with accessories (including a sidecar!) to illustrate how easy it is to customize your ride.

The owner of Urban Village Scooters is me, Kurt Schweitzer. I have been an Electrical Engineer, a programmer, a consultant, a website developer, and a patent reader. Along the way I’ve started a couple of businesses with mixed success. This is my first attempt at retail sales of a tangible product.

John Mooney is our head mechanic. He’s been fixing scooters, motorcycles and cars since he was a kid, and brings decades of experience to the job. He also put in a stint in Kodak’s machine shop.
