Formerly VuittonVal, my current addiction has moved from purses to dolls! I still have lots of bags don't worry, but now that I'm a new mommy I have found a new passion. I collect Blythe Dolls and Mattel My Child Dolls. My Child dolls are from the mid to late 80's and were originally made by Mattel to compete with the Cabbage Patch Kids. Unfortunately Mattel bought the CPK line from Caleco and the My Child dolls were only on shelves from 1986 to 1988. Blythe dolls were only sold in 1972 by Kenner and are pretty rare, however a Japanese company named Takara revived the line in 2001. |
