Who & What is ----- " VALSOUND" ?
A 50 Year old Sound Guy on a 50 acre Farm
After Attending Berklee College of Music, This old guy was on the road for many years doing the Casino Circuit. Tired of suitcases, I moved sideways, returned to south central PA where I was "raised up" & started a Sound & Lighting business using my middle name (Valentine) hence, Valentine Sound & Light...... When I began selling on Ebay, "valsound" seemed like a good ID. While I at first just sold sound & lighting stuff that I no longer needed, I found that I really like this Ebay thing, ... so I'm always looking for stuff to post for sale. ... It's fun, & I can make a few extra bucks. As a business person I know that the customer's satisfaction is always Goal #1. My Ebay business is run that way as well. ... Honest Descriptions of Items. ... Fast & Careful Packaging & Shipment.What about this feedback stuff.............
If I'm so nice, how come someone gave negative feedback? ... Here's Why... In two cases, The buyers were Deadbeats. (non paying bidders) When I list & sell an item, ebay charges me a fee even if the buyer never sends payment. ... I am a patient person, & try to work things out with folks via email. But, If someone blows me off & doesn't sent the payment due after a more than reasonable time, I will post a neg. to their account so that other bidders can block that person from bidding on their auctions. So... In two cases, after I posted negs, .. the deadbeats in question posted retaliatory feedback. ... So, In short, If you're not going to Pay, ...please don't bid. --------- In the third case, I sold some books on half.com (an ebay affiliate). During the infamous My Doom virus period, my email server went down & I didn't get the email from half.com telling me that a book sold. After 2 days of me not confirming the sale(because I didn't know about it), half.com automatically cancels the sale telling the buyer that the item is "no longer available". I never knew the book sold until I saw that someone posted me a neg. .... If any one wants the book on how to be a Hari Krishna, ... I think I still have it for sale for 75 cents......(plus ship) That's probably more than you want to read, but I'm glad to have it off my chest...Thanks!
