Back to previous page  Vandersalvage An old dutch boy that buys too much surplus About 10 years ago I decided to convert a city bus into a motorhome, ever since than I have had the disease (surplus buying that is). In the beginning I just went around to surplus lots because I needed a fridge for my coach or a new steering wheel. Pretty soon I had 2 fridges and 5 steering wheels so we started to sell the items we accumulated. We started a web page in 1997, www.ronthebusnut.com. Since than it has grown and changed, but I'm still buying surplus and building busses.   My youngest boy and myself at a nascar race A slight diversion About 5 years ago we began buying all of Spartan motors extra stock. Let's just say we have a whole lot of it. Much of it most people can't use, but there is allot of great stuff for the builder or maintainer of heavy duty vehicles like busses and trucks. Our ebay store is mainly dedicated to selling these types of products, although sometimes we will sell other surplus from our RV end of things.
