Crochet A La Suan

This is all About Me!
I've been crocheting for over 20 years and about 9 years ago, I taught myself to knit. My favorites are socks and teddy bears. In March 2002, I learned to spin my own wool and hasn't stopped since. I didn't think that I'd be working with raw fleece at first. I initially preferred rovings. But there is something about scouring raw fleece and seeing the transformation from dirty greasy wool to clean smelling fiber that truly inspires me.
Sheep Breeds and their fleece
As an offshoot of my spinning, I'm now doing research on the different sheep breeds in relation to their fleeces for spinning. My goal is to spin every type of fleece out there!
