Whole Music Learning founder, Rob Zollman says... 
I started out as a drummer, but it took me way to long (over 20 years) to think of myself as a musician.  Like so many others I was taught to read and do a lot of technique. Many years later I realized I hadn't gotten the "big picture" -- understanding music.  Had I learned that, instead of just learning to play the drums, I wouldn't have wasted so much time. I've been catching up ever since, learning to play more by ear, improvising and trusting my musical instinct.

Unfortunately music education has concerned itself mostly with teaching people how to play an instrument. Instead music education should teach music understanding, and then how to express that understanding on an instrument. There's an assumption that by learning to play an instrument first, you'll "get it" just from listening to yourself. Actually we're so concerned with playing music correctly that we're often listening to nothing more than the next note. Like Packman, we've become note munchers, often not hearing the greater piece of music.

Too often, we play our roles without understanding the whole piece. This happened to many of us. Unless you've got either a fair amount of God given talent, or have been exposed to lots of different kinds of music, or both, you may feel you missed out. 

As a result of my personal experience, I've become a sort of music evangelist. Over the years, I've developed a successful concept called "whole music learning".   As a result I've created music schools, written books and other materials which support my concepts, and many of my former students are out in the world making records and playing great music. 

So what does any of this have to do ebay?  Ebay offers opportunities to both buyers and sellers to better themselves by accessing items at decent prices.  Ebay enables me to offer a large group of people musical instrument, accessories and materials which have worked in my teaching.
