Hi!

In case you don't know, my name is Vicki and it is a pleasure to introduce myself to you.  The guy next to me is my husband Mike who is helping me and encouraging me to "start circulating my many treasures that I don't have space for" (we just got married and he was a bit overwhelmed at what I had accumulated).   Many of you know me from advice I have freely given, comments I have made on new sellers listings to help them out, research for anyone who asks, etc.  I enjoy the world of collecting for many reasons and I have made many, many friends. I have enjoyed helping many ebay members and others with their questions, so never hesitate to write a note or question.  We both learn!!!  I also have many resources that I can give you so that you may pursue your own collecting passions with some of the greatest in your areas.

One word of caution  PLEASE!  Never get so caught up in ebay or collecting that it becomes an addiction or costs you more than you can afford.  Your loved ones and their needs are far more important than any one material thing in the world.

Basically I specialize in Swarovski Austrian Crystal, Hummels (from A-Z, not just figurines, but they are my favorite), Precious Moments (from the very beginning on and again from A-Z), Goebel creations, David Winter Cottages, many different sculptures that produce incredible depecitions of Walt Disney's art work, including Disney's own creations, Christmas pieces to villages of various natures, German and Austrian pre and post WWII creations of wonderful quality from intricate glasses and glass work to incredible hand painted plates.  My Father was born in Viennia in 1925 and my Grandparents lived in Germany and Viennia until Hitler's time and they taught me a great deal about the artisians and finer things that were produced in greater Europe so along with examples and pictures I gathered a great admiration for their fine workmanship in everything a craftsman undertook.  They took pride in everything they created even if it doesn't appeal to you or me.  They all added to history from the Great Masters to the smallest shops.  They say that immitation is the most sincere form of flattery.  If that is true you only have to look at the many things latter duplicated (unfortunately for money and not pride in workmanship) to see how much many societies treasured some of the smallest creations found after WWII.  OK, so my passions sometimes carry me away...
