He served as the Greatful Dead’s Service Technician for over 20 years
He and John Cutler designed the CB Series Guitar Preamps for Jerry Garcia’s guitars.
Peter custom built a high powered Leslie speaker for Joe Walsh for live touring with the Eagles
Peter developed and manufactured hundreds of parts for Rhodes, Hammond, Leslie, Hohner and many other names when parts were no longer available for vintage instruments. These parts are still available at CAE. Click on our link for a complete list of one of a kind parts.
Ted
Our business manager.
Ted runs the front office for all CAE operations. He coordinates workflow, shipping and day to day business.
Ted is the guitar player for heavy metal band
“Death Angel” on Nuclear Blast Records of Germany.
They play large metal concerts throughout the world and are finishing their new CD, due for February release.
Jeff
Head Technician for CAE Sound,
Jeff can fix anything. When he’s not tearing apart amplifiers and keyboards and other electronics, he owns and operates Zilla Studios in San Bruno. Zilla is fully equipped with great vintage analog gear including a 24 track Ampex MM-1200. Jeff records bands and artists on 2 inch tape and then transfers and edits in the Pro Tools environment. It’s a best of both worlds kind of thing.
Bob
Bob runs the Ebay store for CAE Sound. His Hammond B3 has a lot of miles on it. He’s mixed monitors for Clair Brothers Audio, and had his own video production company for years.
When Bob isn’t writing up listings or answering email he serves as NFL Instant Replay technician for a Bay Area professional football franchise.
Phil
After 36 years of service, Phil retired from Pacific Bell
as a Transmission Engineer and has been working here since 1991. He’s in charge of Parts, Stock and Inventory.
Gerry
Gerry joined us after a career in the US Air Force. You’ll find him building power supplies, preamps, specialty cables and whatever else our clients need.
The Crew also consists of an assortment or technicians and accountants, bookkeepers and an occasional NASA engineer who loves what we do here and can’t stay away from the place. We love what they bring to the place and couldn’t do it without their help. We salute them for their dedication.
