Why I'm on eBay....

I've always been interested in antiques in general and glass and porcelain in particular. I collected with the idea to some day having an antique and collectible store. Four years ago, I closed a 20 year construction firm after being diagnosed with a rare autoimmune muscle disease. This changed my plans suddenly and drastically. I wanted to do something from home that went along with my interests, and eBay seemded to fit the bill. I live in Florida in the Winters and this is something I can do in both locations.I studied at the Asheford Institute of Antiques in Buffalo , NY and find that the more I learn....the more there is to know. I'm always looking for a "find" to bring to my growing list of repeat buyers!

I also volunteer at The Center for Great Apes in Wauchula , Florida. The Greatest experience in a lifetime is to be able to interact with these great creatures. Pictured is my favorite "child" Pongo!
