I have learned with shopping on eBay that I can get new items or gently used at a fraction of the price of retail. The down side of this is that I have created two clothes horses and several items get bought and never worn. But who can argue when I can spend $100.00 on eBay or spend $500.00 retail?
I have had my store for almost a two years now. I tend to have only seasonal listings or when my kids go through that growth spurt! Every so often I get a call from some one in my family asking "Hey do you still have that store on eBay? Can you list something for me?" Recently I have made the move into trying to supplement our Military income. This means that not all of my clothing is coming from the kid's closets.
When shopping on eBay you have to remeber it is the sellers job to tell you everything about the item you are looking. This can be difficult since the buyer can not touch the fabric or actually see it; I have to be honest I am not the best person to take pictures! I try my best to always list every single fault with my items. I have been told by a few customers that I over list my faults and what I see the normal person would not see. As you can tell I am very picky, but I feel you have to be, if you are going to be an honest seller. I am very proud that I have a 100% rating and try very hard to not to lose it. I ship as soon as I get payment, sometimes that means going to the post office twice a day! On eBay your feedback rating is your reputation so I try very hard to keep my customers happy.
