The Shack

 

I received my amateur radio license in 1958 and presently hold an Extra Class license, a First Class Commercial Radiotelephone License and  a Private Pilot certificate with Advanced and Instrument Ground Instructor ratings. My home shack consists of an Icom 756PROIII with Heil mic driving an Ameritron 811H amplifier, a Yaesu FT-7800R , FT-8800R, and a Motorola Radius RF link to my repeater for my Echolink node.  I also operate mobile with an Icom 706 MKIIG and FT-7800R.  QCWA and ARRL Life Member and VE.  I’ve been a storm spotter for over 30 years. My other hobbies include sailing, foreign travel, and community volunteer service.
