Hello and Welcome!
My name is Wasinii Halvorsen. When I started doing Ebay, I was a Preschool Teacher for one class of 3 year olds and one class of 4 year olds. As many of you know, there isn't much money in the early childhood education field. So, I decided to take up a new hobby. Buying and selling antiques, gifts, and collectibles (some I often keep). This hobby has turned into a wonderful job!

On September 18, 2001 I gave birth to Lana Ann and became a stay at home mom. Lana is now in preschool and is working hard to learn her numbers so that she can help me write auction numbers and zip codes on boxes. She is currently wonderful at matching sold item pictures to actual merchandise and helping me to box your item up. If you see a special doodle on the box your item is shipped in, now you know who is responsible. She is slowly earning the title of Shipping Manager.

Lana is also learning about buying stuff to sell on eBay! When we're out at yard and estate sales, she is constantly picking things up asking can I sell this on eBay?

I was able to attend eBay Live 2005 in San Jose and had a great time. Would recommend the experience to anyone. During this time, Lana stayed with Grandma and Grandpa since they live in San Jose. The whole family had a blast at Great America. With everyone talking eBay and all the eBay signs, it seems that eBay was the first word she learned to read. Or, I guess you say memorized. During the conference and even now, whenever she's sees an eBay logo she points to it in an excited manner and screams "Mommy...Mommy...eBay...eBay!". In the restroom while going potty at Great America, she began blurting the Wierd Al eBay song at the top of her lungs. It was pretty funny. She then proceeded to sing it throughout the park.

I guess I'm becomming famous....or at least some think so. I've had a few small articles in some of the local papers. But on a bigger spectrum, Lana and I have a picture and a little story in the January 2006 Issue of Family Circle Magazine.



The Adam Sandler Movie "Benchwarmers" has hit the theaters...I think. I saw a preview, but haven't seen the movie yet and have yet to spot my T-Shirt.

I have recently been under the spotlight in the eBay PowerUp and wish to thank all who have emailled me. I am sorry if I have yet to respond to your questions, but my email is swamped and eBay has told me that I have exceeded my sending limit and that I have to wait for it to reset itself. So, in the meantime, I'll be trying to correspond directly to your email if indicated on the inquiry. And for those reading this who want to contact me you can aol chat me or SKYPE me under the name "Wasinii". I'll leave that info here until I get too overwelmed with chats and calls. :)

My mother-in-law is now working at a shop called "Aardvark Antiques" at which she is a valued dealer. So, if you ever find yourself in the Arroyo Grande Village....be sure to stop in and say "hi!"
