How long do your products last after applied? Will they sink into my laugh lines? Our products last all day & are virtually waterproof. They will not crease, smear or settle into wrinkles or laugh lines as traditional liquid foundations do.

I have pretty severe acne. Are your cosmetics non-comedogenic & hypoallergenic? Is there a chance they could cause me to break out? Most of our customers who have skin issues & have had bad experiences with cosmetics in the past LOVE our mineral makeup. What are the ingredients in Waterlilly Minerals? You will find that our mineral makeup has only a few ingredients. Each ingredient has its own special quality & purpose in the makeup. Our mineral makeup contains some or all of the following: Titanium Dioxide--a naturally occurring mineral that exists in the earth’s surfaces. It provides wonderful coverage for foundation as well as a non-irritating, full-spectrum sun shield. It as waterproof & SPF properties while providing a Matte look. Zinc Oxide & Micronized Zinc Oxide--is known for its healing properties in problem skin such as rosacea & acne, its ability to stay on even while sweating & swimming. It offers natural protection from the sun's harmful UV rays. Iron Oxides-minerals that add color to makeup. They are natural salts that have been oxidized in a water process. Kosher Grade Rice Powder-- offers slow oil-absorbing properties. It provides a soothing, protective translucent cover leaving skin with the perfect shine-free finish. Mica--is an age-old cosmetic used as long ago as the Egyptians. It is a natural "glitter". It is often used to make colors shimmer and glitter. It occurs in nature in sheets and is ground up.  Ultramarine Blue--is required in some cool shades of makeup since there is no blue oxide. Serecite--is a fluffy translucent mineral that can be used alone as a setting powder. It can also provide a silky texture to foundation. Kaolin Clay-- is a soft & mild/gentle clay. It is most often called the purest of all clays. It is very good for sensitive & oily skin. It will draw the toxins from your skin. People with oily skin love this, as it will absorb 1 1/2 times its weight. All mineral ingredients used are approved for use on eyes, face, lips & nails. Our Real Silk Powder contains natural real ground silk from the cocoons of silk worms. These are our makeup ingredients, pure & simple. Our makeup is so gentle that you can sleep in it, & let the zinc oxide heal your skin at night.

Foundation is an important facet of makeup. The blank canvas on which the rest of your makeup is applied. It is the base for any makeup application--to hide facial imperfections such as scars, depressions & pigmented areas of skin. Foundation is the most individualized makeup you wear Makeup Foundation is not merely about adding color to your skin but also as a protective covering from the drying sun, wind & air conditioning. The base for your makeup is very important - it must be closest to your skin color or your makeup will be a mess.

• How much product are in the jars? A 30-gram sifter jar ~~will hold 10 grams (approx. 6-8 tsps) of powder net weight. (30-gram means volume). For foundations, this will last about 5 months on average depending on use. A 30-gram sifter jar of setting veil powder, is used so often during the course of the day & is so amazing for absorbing oil & leaving a matte finish, we are not sure how long it will last! A 20-gram sifter jar~ will hold 5 grams (approx. 3-4 tsps) of either blush, glow, bronzer, corrector, or multitasking powder net weight. ( 20-gram means volume). This size will last several months depending on use. (Blush tends to last longer, as we do not want to walk around looking like clowns!) A 10-gram sifter jar ~~will hold 3 grams (approx. 2-2 ½+ tsps) of eye shadow/liner powder net weight. (10-gram means volume). This size will last quite a while (several months to years) since this is the eye shadow/liner size & people will only use small amounts of these shades. A 5-gram jar~~will hold between 1 to 2 grams ( approx ½-1½+ tsps) of mineral powder net weight (5-gram means volume). This is for our sample size kits & sample size products, it will last approximately 1+ month or longer depending on the product & your use of it. Eye shadows in the 5 gram jar containing 1 gram (1/2 tsp) of product could last 1+ month to as long as 6 months.

• Here are our jar sizes in inches to help you determine how big or little the jars are:The 5 gram jar measures~1 1/8” diameter & ¾” height. (This is the size jar we use for all sample sizes)The 10 gram sifter jar measures~1 5/8” diameter & 7/8” height. (This is the size jar we use for full size shadows.)The 20 gram sifter jar measures~2” diameter & 7/8” height. (This is the size jar we use for full size blush, bronzers, concealers, correctors, enhancement, real silk & radiance) The 30 gram sifter jar measures~2” diameter & 11/8” height. (This is the size jar we use for full size foundation & mineral/setting veil)

If a color is too light for your complexion, all you need to do is add a darker color... example, light beige is too light for your skin, all you need to do is add Tan to make it darker. The same applies if your color is too dark...example, Coco is too dark, all you need to do is add light tan to lighten it! It's that simple! If you don't want to mix colors, there are other uses for a foundation shade...eye shadow base, concealer, lip base, mix with your setting veil to give it a dab of color, or add it to your moisturizer.
