Early in the 1990s I was working as an archaeologist in the southwestern U.S. Archaeology took me to the Southeastern U.S. where I first began eBay in the mid 90's. I sold rocks and minerals as Crypto-Crystals. I duplicated prehistoric pottery for museums and Indian Tribes and sold rocks and minerals on eBay in my spare time on eBay as Hydrous. Then my family and I moved to Washington DC where I discovered lots of old antiques. I switched from rocks and minerals to selling vintage and antique Items along with fine arts. In 2002 my family's archaeology interests brought me to Colorado where I now reside. I began collecting southwestern antiques as a hobby to decorate my new house here and re-started my pottery making as Coiled Clay Creations . I'm going to start listing some of them on eBay. As I started collecting southwestern objects I acquired lots of other vintage and antique folk art items. When I get tired of making pottery I delved into the selling of other collectibles I find while looking for old Mexican and Southwestern folk art pieces. I've phased away from doing archaeology and started my journey into pottery making and antiquing. My antiquing has phased into a full time job and I sell just a fraction of what I've collected over the years. My problem is, I've collected more then I've sold and I'm running out of room. The more I can sell the more I can collect. My collecting has slowed a little until I sell more. It's a vicious circle.

February 15, 2009 - eBay took off all of my listings off. All 98 of them today because I was offering buyers options of paying with a money order or personal check. Ebay never let me know this was a problem until I found out today when they took my listings off and found the listings removed in my email early this "Sunday morning". They claimed they tried to contact me through my phone number and there wasn't a call from them on my caller ID record unless they use a phone number which cannot be tracked - which is possible. I re-tooled them and re-listed all the auctions I had active - only with the paying option of using Paypal as an option for buyers to pay. They say it's because of fraud. I think it's a bunch of malarky, because I've never had any problems with those payment options and I've been selling on eBay for years. I've never had a problem with money orders or personal checks - "not one time". I'm sorry that I can't offer more options. I'm also sorry for any of you who were bidding on my items at that time. I thank all my regular customers and hope you keep coming back.

eBay has a monopoly on the discussions boards on this subject and just about every other subject as well. So don't waste your time there. Go directly to them by contacting them directly. When the discussion forum works and right now it's not working. When it does work they have their minions to try to discredit your opinions. They even have a grammar minions when all else fails. ~Policies~

My return policy is that if you don't like it send it back and I will give you a full refund along with the shipping both ways. I ship within three days of purchase (not counting weekends). I accept only Paypal payments because eBay owns Paypal and they have the monopoly on the options I can offer. The other online payments options eBay allows are not very good and is difficult for buyers to use. I can't offer a credit card option because my selling volume is not high enough to pay for itself. So right now Paypal is my only option.
