Way of Wisdom Home Education Supply is owned and operated by Gibbes & Chris Doughty and family. We are a Christian family and officially opened our online store in June, 2005. We have been homeschooling 15+ years and have acquired a broad range of experience regarding different learning styles, curriculum choices, and learning disabilities such as vision processing, ADD, dyslexia, and auditory processing. All four of our children learned to read at home, at their own pace and according to their ability. Once we embraced home education we never looked back. In retrospect, we can heartily say that the decision to educate our children at home was by far one of the very best decisions we have ever made – it has been an incredible experience and a delight!
We recently graduated our two oldest children, both having been homeschooled all the way through high school. Looking back, we feel that one of the most important keys to successful homeschooling is finding the right resource for the individual student, taking into account their challenges, personality and learning style. Having navigated those waters, by the grace of God, and having had to learn as we went, we have a strong desire to help others avoid the mistakes and capitalize on the successes we made in the process. Although it would be impossible to personally use every product we carry, the vast majority are resources that have been “quality tested” in our private “homeschool laboratory” and it is our pleasure to make them available to you.
