Items sold

I try to find family-oriented materials to sell online. Although the definition of family-oriented may be different to some, I use my own judgement to decide what I feel is fit to sell.

Email Correspondence

I try to answer all my emails that I recieve, but I get 1,000+ emails every week regarding my auctions. Sometimes, there can be a 72-hour delay in my responses and sometimes a 2-minute delay. Please forgive me if it takes awhile to respond to your comments though. Even I would admit getting to all my email questions is the weakness of my business. Please do not email me about leaving feedback...my policy is clearly stated further down this page.

Shipping times and dates

As far as shipping goes, my normal routine is I go to the Post Office twice a week. If you get your payment in by noon, the day I ship, I will have it out to the Post Office that day or the next day. If I get it later than noon, it most likely will not get to the Post Office until the following trip. One more thing, please keep in mind that I have a life outside of ebay. I follow this schedule at least 9 out of 10 times, but every once in awhile, life throws some curve balls and I don't get to the Post Office until the next morning. If that does happen, please except my apologies and know that I tried my best to get it out on time. I mail 95% of my packages first class or better which means it will arrive within 3-4 days (to the US). I do reserve the right to mail a package media mail as shipping prices have increased drastically in the last few years for items more than a pound. In my experience, that will usually take a few extra days or another week to get to it's destination but the Post Office does say it may take up to a month (I've found that to be true in very rare cases).

S&H

Now comes the infamous S&H fees. If you will notice, all my auctions have a standard $3.50 or $5 S&H fee depending on each auction won. Please let me explain this. I think many people get the S&H fee mixed up with the shipping fee. The $3.50 not only pays for the shipping, but also goes toward packing supplies and the service of addressing envelopes, packaging/sealing items and going to the Post Office. I feel that I clearly state the S&H fees, so please keep that in mind when you bid. If you are willing to pay $10 for an item and the S&H fee is $3.50, please only bid $6.50.

International S&H

It is my pleasure to do business with people from all over the world. I have shipped to places like Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy, Germany, Russia, China, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands, The Philippines, Taiwan, Israel, Egypt, South Africa, New Zealand and many, many more places. My international shipping and handling fees to each country are cleary stated in each auction. If you purchase more than one item, or purchase an item that weighs more than a single CD or DVD, I will work with you on an individual basis. If you purchase many items, I will give you the option of sending money for surface rate (4-6 weeks) or air mail (7-10 days). Please feel free to email me before the auction ends to get a quote for international shipping and handling fees.

Insurance

As far as insurance goes, I charge $1.30 for insurance for any item less than $50. I reserve the right to choose to get insurance through the Post Office or send the item at my own risk (using my own personal insurance). If I send it at my own risk, you can mail back the item that was damaged during shipment and I will either replace the item or entirely refund the cost of the item, the S&H fee and an additional fee for Shipping the item back to me. On a side note, although there have been very few problems with this, I do not guarantee that my CD and DVD cases will not arrive cracked. From what I understand, less than 2% of my cases arrive cracked, but I cannot guarantee it. I've had CD's mailed to me in boxes with padding and still had them cracked. That is just a risk that is taken when shipping CDs and DVDs. Hopefully you will have gotten a good enough deal that it will not make much of a difference.

Payments accepted

I accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express through paypal, Westerern Union and Bidpay. I also accept Money Orders, Cashier Checks and personal checks (with a 10-day clearing period). I only accept payment in US$. I will also accept well-concealed cash, but you will be sending it at your own risk.

My Feedback

As you can see, if you have checked my feedback, I do not have a perfect record. I do believe that out of 70,000+ transactions that I have had, the feedback rating isn't bad. To be honest, several of the negative feedback remarks are valid because of mistakes I have made, but a majority of them could have been settled if they would have contacted me first. If there is a problem, please email me and most likely we will be able to work something out.

Your Feedback

I understand that feedback is important to many people. Unfortunately, feedback takes A LOT of time. It would be easy (and incredibly fast) if I could leave positive feedback for everyone every week whether they have paid or not, but that is not the case. If I were to do that, it would defeat the purpose of the feedback rating system. Therefore, I have set up a program to automatically leave positive feedback once positive feedback has been left for me. That's the easiest way to get your feedback. Besides that, about once a month, I go through my auctions and leave positive feedback for all of those who have chosen not to leave feedback for me yet. I will leave feedback for all of my 1000+ transactions all at one time. This means that some may not receive feedback from me for over a month after payment and I apologize for that. But please understand that I eventually leave feedback - check my "feedback left for others" link. Please do not send emails asking for feedback...I do my best to help out in that situation, but can only do so much. Also, please note that if you do not use paypal to send payment, I do not leave feedback unless it is left for me. This is my system to speed it up for everyone else.

Personal Information about Me

I guess I'm supposed to say a little something about myself on this page also. I got into eBay when my mother wanted to have a yard sale and I tried selling things online instead. We ended up making hundreds and hundreds of dollars more doing it that way. And that is how it all started. I'm trying to think of my future now and using my eBay money to save for my family.
