All about westernbikers
Hi, I am Roland, born in Belgium and living in Thailand since 1994 with my Thai wife and our daugther. Last year we joined a local cowboy festival in the cowboy region of Thailand, we enjoyed our stay in the mountains so much we thought it would be a good idea to set up a "cowboy-coffee shop".
Looking for goods and suppliers around the world, we found some very interesting stuff for our future western shop. During this festival we made friends with the owners of several country shops who were selling their goods.
Several months later we visited those vendors to look for more goods and we found some "new" suppliers. With "new", I mean its not specific cowboy anymore.
One of those "new" vendors had lots of cowboy wear & gear but also plenty of goods made from leather and hide to customize the bikes.
Now, I am a guy with a big interest in everything about the old west but I am also a chopper guy and I like to customize my bike. So I walked around, looking at those beautiful saddle and tool bags, the fringed handle covers, the helmets covered in leather, the belts, the bags and ended up buying some fringed waist & hip bags and a few shoulder bags.
Back home I started to look at all the products from this vendor and I discovered the huge line of products made from jeans, leather, hide, snake skin.., all hand made.
To give you an idea: imagine a shoulder bag made from leather with pieces of cowhide, fringed or not, handbags, waist & hip bags that can hold your money, sigarettes, cell phone and other valuables safely.
So now we were no longer a cowboy shop but also a biker shop, a leather shop,...time to clear the mind of what we want to be.
Thinking about a name for the shop, well we already had cowboy & indian goods, now we also had bike goods, so we called it... westernbikers
Now, we had all those beautiful silk-screen printed high quality t-shirts, handmade hand-shoulder-hip & waist bags, wallets, bike saddle & tool bags, belts,...made from leather, hide and snake skin we thought it would be great to expose online...so here we are
