Wheat from the chaff -- it means exactly that. I search for, select and sell only the best pieces of vintage and retro (and occasionally new) jewelry and other wonderful items from old unsold store stock (my favorite) to 'gently used' to 'used but still has a lot of life left in it'. I will point out even the tiniest flaw so that you know exactly what you're getting before you hit the buy it now button. I stand firmly behind each and every item I sell; therefore, returns are always welcome. $5 purchases receive the same attention, care and service as $500 ones.

My inventory comes from many different places and I only sell items that I determine are special, rare or unique in some way. If it takes me back in time, watch out - I'll grab up all I can and pass it along to you. At the same time, I try to maintain a balance by listing a wide variety of items suitable for all budgets, sizes, occasions and tastes. If it's old dime store stuff, I say so -- but realize that here, that is not a bad thing at all. Few of us would pass up the chance to visit our childhood dime stores just one more time. Look around, you're liable to get a glimpse of it here.

Inevitably, there will be some "chaff" - items that just don't quite meet my pretty stringent standards as wearable or usable. This is sold as scrap, damaged, broken or craft only and will be fully disclosed in the listing as such. Some items can go both ways, but I always give you the chance to determine that for yourself. I never sell items that no longer have potential - instead, I let the garbage man have them.

We place a high value on our service to you. Ever spend a considerable amount on that special item only to have it arrive stuffed carelessly into an envelope? Here, every item is treated with its value in mind. We package with the utmost of care and all items are wrapped well and protected from damage - you can be assured that opening your package will be a pleasant experience, not a disappointment. All used clothing items are laundered and line dried prior to listing. Items that are new old stock are washed only if necessary. This is always disclosed in the listing. Keep in mind that though we gently fold and tissue wrap each piece, it still may be necessary to lightly tumble dry clothing items for a moment or two to relieve wrinkles which are nearly impossible to prevent.

No matter what you're looking for, there is fun in every piece and certainly a memory or two. I hope that you'll take a few minutes to look around, even if that's all you can afford to do right now. Delivery Guarantee: As a buyer, I like guarantees and the option to return an item I don't want or need or doesn't fit or isn't quite what I expected. I like to get my item quickly and packed well. I like to receive clean merchandise. I like to know that if there is a problem with my order, I can contact my seller and s/he won't get defensive. So - you'll find that when you buy here you won't have those worries. I treat all buyers exactly as I would like to be treated. All jewelry arrives clean and ready to wear, straight from the package. All pre-loved clothing items are clean and ready to wear (ebay requires this). Items with rust or other such defects that would make them uncomfortable or unsafe to wear will never be sold here.

Make your offer early. I consider and carefully review each offer to purchase on an individual basis. I work full time and am unable to attend to emails during the hours of 8-5 M-F EST; therefore, Best Offers risk going unseen within 10 hours of a listing's end.

I value my repeat buyers tremendously. Having earned your trust as a seller gives me satisfaction. Repeat buyers will be eligible for deeper discounts on certain items as well as more lenient payment arrangements when needed. Please, just ask!

No Questions Asked Refunds for purchase price (shipping costs are not refundable) when returned in same condition postmarked within 7 days and returned within 14 days of receipt. Please email me to let me know if you need to return your item. I do allow extra time for my international buyers to make returns. Please use original packaging whenever possible. Fragile items such as jewelry must be packaged in the same manner as it was originally sent, so please do not discard your packaging. It should also be insured against loss or damage. Delivery confirmation is highly recommended for your protection and is free for priority mail (and a nominal .18 for parcel post) when you print your return shipping label through the USPS website. First class packages must be shipped from your PO.
