About Us

My name is Lynn Owens and I own and operate Where in the World and its parent company, Quality Discounters. I have been an eBay member since 1999. I fell in love GPS during canoe trips in the Boundary Waters in Minnesota and the Quetico in Canada. Soon after I switched from paper charts and a hand bearing compass to my trusty Garmin Venture on my sailing trips along the Atlantic Coast of Florida.

My wife and I are foster parents to 6 amazing boys. We introduced the boys to geocaching (or Treasure hunting as they like to call it) and they loved it! This eBay store is part of the realization of a dream to foster and adopt abused, abandoned and neglected kids. The profits will go to providing a home for these kids and allowing us to parent them from home full time.
