I love to find inspiration on ebay pages for my Home Staging business & interior redesign, and unique finds for my home. There are great sellers & buyers on ebay.

I enjoy writing & editing, and have some books on the go that are comedies, helping me resolve some nightmares I  had with  a pyschotic neighbour (I'm always willing to add more stories as this is about making fun out life's absurdities, after I can step back, try to heal, and laugh about the craziness that nearly did me in).

I also edit papers, resumes, proposals... and if you need help with a paper for school or a resume and cover letter I'm your woman. I do this via internet and have successfully helped many college and university students increase their grades by one grade point (from b's to a's etc) and I teach the formula for writing effective papers and letters in common - NO PASSIVE VERBS:)

I will start by telling you that I have fibromyalgia (FM) and am often confined to bed, so these projects keep my mind moving as I create and design in my automatic bed. I have everything I need at my finger tips, thru some creative friends who have helped me build shelves behind my walls that open when I need them.

My latest craze is making shadow boxes out of miniature items, like Victorian hats, shoes, purses or, computer rooms customized to look like your room (all purchased on ebay) altho I need a source for shadow boxes. I just completed 3 for my new victorian themed bathroom and have crystals that have created an overflowing antique bath with bubbles and a glass slipper full of bubbles from the overflow and beautiful, gold framed era pictures.

 I particularly enjoy making them as gifts for new mom's (with crib, rocking chairs, teddies, baskets of baby things), for shower or house warming gifts with personal colour schemes. I didn't know I was so creative until I stumbled upon the makings in my house of treasures for home staging.

If you follow some basic steps you can ensure you reach a higher price then homes not staged (of course it is all dependent on your area, the condition of the house, the finances you have to put into the house to raise the values, the market and so on).

I had a realtor call me a couple of weeks ago and he simply did not know how to approach a situation in a woman's home who was an exotic dancer. People jump to conclusions and assume she is on drugs, hard core, sleeps with anyone etc. She is actually a lovely woman, who purchased the house she is living in from her work as a dancer. While she danced she took courses to become a lawyer and advocate for women's rights. She was buying a new home and needed to sell this one. But, she always left scanty lingere; sexual bras and cami's, thongs and other dress up items, drying in her bathroom, which was beautiful with many mirrors. The realtor explained to her that she should take anything personal down and she took the magnets off the fridge, removed personal papers and family pics and the house was otherwise perfect. He didn't want to take her stuff down for fear she would think ill of him. I came in and did the tour and just made a joke about picking up potential overnight partners by leaving her outfits hanging in the bathroom. She was mortified and said, "oh my, I wash out my things every night and leave them to dry in the shower. Not once had it crossed my mind to remove them".

It wasn't rocket science but we had a good laugh and she sold her house a week later. lol If she reads this she now knows how highly I regard her and her goals. She made good money, stashed it away and never did the stereotypical things we think of with an "exotic dancer". She was called to the bar and is now working in a legal aid clinic to begin her training. She will take over the world while I am kicking myself wondering why I never thought of that when I had a body to do so - no guts!

I keep forgetting to make this page, so will think more and figure out how I can create in purple, my fav colour, that inspires and calms me to think of creative ideas.

I do not always have items listed. I hope I have intrigued you so far and you have guessed that I have a sense of humour. Laughter is the best medicine.

I will add more but, hope to start listing my shadow boxes to give people an idea of how fun these are.

My goal in life is to learn something new everyday. I am always open to suggestions and to people who may have similar ailments. I have quite a support group inside ebay and this has blossomed and amazed me. It opens my world to a global community. I love gardening, can you tell by my language.
